I am Felix Meickmann, a post doctoral researcher based in the Department of Economics at the University of Cologne. My research interests primarily lie at the intersection of behavioral economics, decision theory, and strategic cooperation, where I use experiments to investigate how individuals make choices over time and how organizations collaborate in competitive environments. Through my work, I aim to combine theoretical insights with empirical and experimental methods to better understand economic decision-making.

My recent publications reflect these core research interests. In a co-authored paper with Steven J. Humphrey, "Are violations of the stationarity principle mistakes?", published in the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics (2026), we explore the cognitive and behavioral foundations of time-inconsistent choices. Additionally, my paper "Cooperation in Knowledge Sharing and R&D Investment" (2023), featured in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, examines the dynamics of collaborative research and development.
